She left the military to pursue a degree in medicine, but two semesters before completing her degree in Biology, she realized her calling was very different. She changed direction and her major because her gifts in writing and speaking were better utilized in the communications field. She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Rowan University in New Jersey.
Adrienne landed a job with a major PR & Advertising Agency in Philadelphia shortly after graduation, and worked with companies like Subara, NASCAR, Palmer’s Chocolate, The Chrohn’s & Colitis Foundation and many others.
She eventually moved on to launch a parenting magazine called, South Jersey MOM after her first child was born and she recovered from a major bout of Postpartum Depression. As editor and publisher, she put together compelling stories that not only built up a community of mothers, it helped local business owners sell their products and services to the community. The first issue started with 10,000 copies and just ONE paying advertiser. Over the next few years, she grew the distribution to seven South Jersey counties and printed more than 38,000 copies per month. Advertising sales exceeded multiple 6 figures annually. She sold the magazine in 2011 to spend more time with her growing family.
After two years of homeschooling her children, Adrienne’s strong entrepreneurial spirit couldn’t be contained any longer and she opened up her own digital marketing agency in April 2013. Today, she specializes specifically in using Facebook and Twitter advertising to generate leads and clients for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
